WASHINGTON, D.C (April 2015)– Yesterday, Dave Stevens, President and CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), recognized one member for the Burton C. Wood Legislative Award at the National Advocacy Conference. This award is presented each year, based on superior service to the MBA and dedication to the real estate finance industry.
The award is named in honor of Mr. Burton C. Wood, a long term legislative counselman for the MBA. His dedication and skills benefited the MBA for almost 30 years while gaining the respect of both Republicans and Democrats alike.
Platinum Home Mortgage Corporation is honored that the award was given to one of its own this year. James Bopp is Platinum’s National Correspondent Sales Manager at our offices in NY. He earned the award for leading the team effort in founding the New York Mortgage Bankers Association (NYMBA). “Jim’s commitment and ambition deserve recognition, and we are proud to have Jim on our team. He brings great value to Platinum and the industry, as this award shows” says Platinum’s CEO, William Giambrone. “We praise Jim for all his hard work and dedication to helping people realize the dream of homeownership.”
Congratulations to Jim Bopp for his exceptional service to the MBA, Platinum team, and the real estate finance industry as whole.
